My Autism Experience

My name is Adam Gold I was diagnosed with PDD NOS (Autism) when I was around 13/14. My experiences on the spectrum have been kinda rough growing up. I was never fully able to understand why I was so different from the other kids and because of unusual special interests I was excluded a lot. I always felt different from everyone else because no one I knew had the same sensory issues or difficulties that I did. It wasn’t until I was in high school that I actually met one of my best friends who always stood by my side even if we disagreed on a lot of stuff. I didn’t fully start embracing my neurodiversity until November when I met a group of autistic people who I connected with and became good friends with all of them.
